ProgramOptions

 

In the Program Options window you set the options for Invoice! WinPro.  This will affect the whole program regardless of what Company you are working with.  These options are stored in windows registry.

 

Backup Data File Settings

 

Change Backup Folder - (OPTIONAL) Click on this button to bring up the folder dialog to change the Backup destination.  Or if you wish you can type it in the field next to the button.  Whatever method you do the path will be saved when you click on the Save button and exit the window.  The default path is Backup\ .  Note the "\" after the Folder Name Backup.  Removing this from the backup will cause the backed up data file to saved to the program folder.

 

Turn Off Auto Backup on Program Close - (OPTIONAL) Check this box if you do not wish to have the software automatically back up your data files when exiting the software.  You should note that if you do this then it is up to you to make periodic backups of your data files.

 

Window Settings

 

Use Windows XP Themes - (OPTIONAL) If you are using the XP operating system and have Themes turned on you can check this box so that the software will use the Theme you have selected for XP.  The default setting is unchecked.  Checking this box disables the Windows Style and Windows Skin options

Maximize Main Windows - (OPTIONAL) Check this box if you want the main tables (Invoices, Credits, etc.) to be maximized each time you open them. (Note that when a table is maximized it causes the update window to be maximized as well.)

 

Select Windows Style - (OPTIONAL) Select from the drop down the type of Windows Style you wish to use.  If you wish to use a Skin you must select the Skin Style in order to do so.  The default setting is Office 2003.

 

Select Windows Skin - (OPTIONAL) If you selected the Skin Style from the Windows Style drop down then you can select the type of skin you wish to use from this drop down.

 

Network Settings

 

Use Network Drive for Data Location - (OPTIONAL) Check this box if you wish to use a network drive (Server, etc.) to store your data.

 

Select Data Folder - (OPTIONAL) Click on this button to bring up the folder dialog that has the data file in it.  Once you have saved the folder the path will appear in the field next to the button.  The path will also appear at the bottom of the main window.  However it will not be functional until you close the software and restart it. Logon Information

 

Require Logon to Use Program - (OPTIONAL) If you have Sales Representatives, or Users of the software and wish to have them Logon prior to using the program check this box.  It will turn on the Security and allow you to enter the Sales Reps/Users names along with their passwords.  The software will automatically enter this information if you add Sales Reps/Users after checking the box.  For more information on Security see Security.

 

Buttons

 

Save - Saves any changes you made and returns to the Main window.

Cancel - Cancels any changes you made and returns to the Main window.
