Invoice! WinPro uses the registry to store certain information about the installation, user settings and software settings.  The keys below  show the different locations and settings that the software uses.

Note that before making any changes you should make a backup of the registry.  If you have never worked with it or do not understand how it works please do not make any changes.

There may come a time that you wish to delete the registry settings.  If you do then when you restart the program it will reset the defaults, however if you have your data stored on a network drive you will have to go to the setup for the software and change the location to the network drive.

Under InvoiceWinPro you will see two folders.  One is called GUI and the other SoftwareSettings.  The GUI folder contains all the user settings for the windows when they are displayed.  You can delete this folder from the program by clicking on File, Clear Display settings.

Your settings for the data files, selections for window appearances and style are located here.  To change these outside of the program itself you must use the registry.  (regedit.exe)
