The following Menu Items can be found on the Main window Menu Bar. Buttons on the Main window Tool Bar are identical to their Menu counterparts. Some menu items have a function key assigned to the item (i.e.,F9). By pressing the associated function it will call the table/update form without having to go through the menu. The top of the window displays the current version of the software (i.e. 1.2) and the current Company loaded i.e. DEFAULT Company). The bottom of the window displays the current status of any messages the program needs to display. Normally you will the data source (where the data file is located the software is using) and the present Date and Time. If you are using the software across a network then the user that is signed in will also appear on this line as well.
Menu Bar Items
File
Setup - Sets up the different parts of the software. ToDo List - Displays the different items needing completion. File Maintenance - Displays the different tools available for the software. Scan Documents - Scan and store documents you need to save. Security - Setup and maintain the access rights for this software. Exit - Closes software and returns to desktop.
Tables
New Credit - Creates a new Credit Memo. New Invoice - Creates a new Invoice. New Purchase Order - Creates a new Purchase Order. Business Expenses - Opens the Business Expense table. Check Book - Opens the Check Book table. Credits - Opens the Credit Memos table. Customers - Opens the Customers table. Inventory - Opens the Inventory table. Invoices - Opens the Invoice table. Purchase Orders - Opens the Purchase Orders table. RMAs - Opens the Return Merchandise Authorization table. Vendors - Opens the Vendors table.

If multiple windows are open you may arrange them in different orders by selecting the one of different layouts.
Help
Contents/Index - Calls this help file. Email BLS Software - Click this item to open your email program and send us an email. About - Calls the About Window. Registration - Calls the Registration Window to register your software.
NOTE - Throughout the Help file you will fine Information marked (OPTIONAL) or (REQUIRED). (OPTIONAL) is not required for the company to function. However most of it is used for addresses, etc. on reports that the Company generates. (REQUIRED) must be filled in for the company to properly figure Invoices, etc. Failure to enter information in those fields will generate an error. |
