Invoices

 

This displays all your Invoices written for customers.  This database is unique to each company in the software.

You may sort any of the columns by clicking on the column header.  Or if you wish to search by that column just do a right mouse click on the column header for the menu.  At the bottom of the browse table you will notice a box with an "x", a check box and on the far right a button that says Edit Filter.  You may do a more inclusive search (other than the search fields located at the top of the browse table) by clicking on the Edit Filter button.  You can select fields that are not visible to search on and see the results of those searches.  Note however that unless you clear the search after using it, it will be saved when you close the window.  When you open the window again the records will be filtered based on the saved search.

Double-click the highlighted row to change the information on that highlighted row.

 

Tabs

 

Invoice # - Sorts the first column by the Invoice #.

Date - Sorts the first column by the Date.

 

Invoice Profile

 

Customer Name - Displays the Customers/Company full name.

 

Sales Rep # - Displays the Sales Representative that created the Invoice.

 

Shipping # - Displays the shipping/tracking number you assigned to the Invoice.

 

Rebill - Displays the recurring billing cycle if any.

 

The legend displays the definition of the colored rows, in this case Invoices that have an amount due will highlighted in Orange, been voided will be highlighted in grey and Invoices that are Quotes will be highlighted in tan.

 

Buttons

 

Add - Add a new Invoice to the software.

Change - Change the highlighted Invoices information.

Delete - Delete the highlighted Invoice.

Copy - Copy the highlighted Invoice.  The only fields not filled in the new copy are the date and amount paid if any.

Void - Voids the highlighted Invoice.  This also voids any payments and will ask you if you wish to return any items to the inventory.

Finance - Displays the Finance history of the highlighted Invoice.  You can add, change, or delete payments from this window.

Print - Prints the highlighted Invoice.

Close - Closes the window and returns to the Main window.
