The Back Up data File allows you to backup the data files for the software. It stores them in a standard ZIP file. It allows you to store the backup file to any location you choose.
The field next to the backup button displays the path you have chosen or the default path. By default the program will name the backup file InvoiceMDB plus the current date plus the extension .zip (i.e. InvoiceMDB_1_6_2006.zip). You may name it anything you wish as long as the file extension is .zip.
Buttons
Select Location for Backup - Displays the folder dialog to select a different location other than the default (Backup\) folder to store the backed up data file to.
Start - Starts the backup process.
Cancel - Cancels the window and returns to the Main Window.
NOTE: Remember that having backups is a saving grace in the face of file/network problems. Network problems can corrupt your files in a heartbeat. If you have no backups, you are in big trouble (future or present - trouble will occur). Having backups is a responsibility you must take very seriously.
